The Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 of Chesapeake City , Maryland responds to calls in the town of Chesapeake City and outlying areas. This includes responses into the towns of Elkton, Hacks Point, Cecilton and into nearby Delaware. The company houses equipment in two stations located on each side of the C&D Canal, Stations 2 & 12. Our members are trained in fire suppression , rescue and emergency medical care. We also respond to emergencies on the C&D Canal and nearby waterways with our boat, Fire /Rescue Boat 2.
