Dr. Jenkins earned his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University in 1988. He earned his D.D.S. degree and orthodontic certificate from the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, University of Maryland, in 1992 and 1997 respectively. Following his orthodontic training, Dr. Jenkins held a full-time position in the Orthodontic Department of the University of Maryland Dental School and a part-time practice in Elkridge. Dr. Jenkins has practiced with str8rsmiles since 2003 and maintains a part-time position at the University of Maryland.
