Millard Cooper Park offers pavilions, picnic areas, a nature trail, a newly constructed splash pad, and playground equipment. Friday nights during the summer months is a great time to enjoy the free Concerts in the Park series. ‘The Coop’ is also home to Sykesville Cinema held on second Saturdays during summer months. The Snack Shack is open during movie and concert nights and features delicious hot dogs, freshly-popped popcorn, ice cream, candy and drinks. The playground is lighted for the kids’ enjoyment. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and take in a movie under the stars or enjoy an evening of music from some of our incredible local talent.
