Elliot Dawson, MD, serves as director of the division of neurology, director of the vascular neurology program, and director of the stroke program at MedStar Franklin Square. Under his leadership, the hospital is working to expand its stroke program, with a goal to offer interventional procedures both in the emergency department and intensive care unit. In addition to his administrative leadership roles, Dr Dawson provides comprehensive care for stroke patients admitted to the hospital. He earned his medical degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine and is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
