Dr. Chryssa M Bender

Dr. Chryssa Bender earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Susquehanna University graduating with honors in 2001. She then attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry where she completed her Doctorate in Optometry with Summa Cum Laude honors in 2005. Upon graduation, Dr. Bender went on to pursue an ocular disease residency at the Delaware Veteran’s Administration Medical Center. During her residency, she obtained specialized training in the treatment and management of ocular diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. Dr. Bender provides comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages. Her scope of practice encompasses every phase of primary eye care
