A Maryland native, David Jacobs, MD, specializes in nonsurgical management of back and neck pain, and other musculoskeletal disorders. His clinical practice emphasizes treating these disorders with medication management, physical therapy, lifestyle changes, and fluoroscopic-guided spine injections. Dr Jacobs is also trained in the latest techniques for treating intractable back pain with spinal cord stimulator trials and intractable knee pain with genicular nerve blocks and genicular nerve radiofrequency ablation. He also performs epidural steroid injections, facet and sacroiliac joint injections, medial branch nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablation, and has an interest in peripheral nerve stimulation for peripheral joint pain.
