Children's Chorus of Maryland & School of Music (CCM) is a music education & performance program dedicated to choral excellence & play-based learning. We believe that music communicates the essence of the human spirit, and the voice is truly the "first" instrument. Children who complete the Conservatory Program leave CCM with the equivalent of a year of college-level music theory, having acquired the knowledge & skills without compromising their young voices. Studies include sight singing, ear training, music theory, vocal health, proper singing techniques, history, composition, teamwork, self-discipline, commitment, joyful learning, mutual respect, self-confidence, and appreciation for high standards.
